The Ministry of Communications and Technology signed a framework agreement with Boston-based Arthur D. Little (ADL), one of the leading global consulting firms. The agreement aims to enhance cooperation on strategic projects that the ministry is working on, as the company will provide its consulting services in evaluating the proposals submitted for the Silk Link and Barq Net infrastructure projects, in addition to supporting future cellular network development projects in Syria.
Attracting the Best Global Expertise
Minister of Communications Abdulsalam Haykal emphasized the importance of attracting the best global expertise to assist in implementing major national projects that the ministry is working on, aiming to secure reliable and high-quality internet and communication services for every citizen and institution in Syria as quickly as possible.
Haykal noted that the partnership with global experts like ADL reflects the new Syria’s openness to the world and its commitment to implementing major national projects according to international standards, enhancing the confidence of global and regional companies in the Syrian market.
He pointed out that gaining insight into the best practices worldwide allows Syria to enhance digital development, stimulate economic growth, and continue attracting investments from around the globe.
Developing Syria’s Communication Infrastructure
Thomas Korovila, Managing Partner at ADL in the Middle East and India and a member of the company’s global board, stated cooperation with the Syrian Ministry of Communications reflects the company’s confidence in its ambitious vision.
