• Israeli attacks on homes across Gaza have killed at least 100 people and wounded 286 in the past 24 hours

• Israel seeks full control of the Gaza-Egypt border, which would mark a de facto reversal of its 2005 withdrawal from Gaza, placing the enclave under exclusive Israeli control

• The war in Gaza is expected to continue for “many more months,” according to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

• The continuing Israeli bombardment has now destroyed more than 70% of Gaza’s homes

• The war has led to a devastating humanitarian crisis, with Gaza grappling with catastrophic hunger, and 40% of the population at risk of famine, according to the UN Agency for Palestinian refugees

• Hamas Political Bureau member Izzat Al-Rishq expressed salutes, loyalty, and appreciation to Palestinian journalists on Loyalty Day. He acknowledged the resilience of journalists in Gaza, honoring those who lost their lives during the Zionist aggression, and emphasizing their commitment to delivering the truth despite challenges. Al-Rishq called on the Palestinian journalistic and media community to continue their honorable path in expressing the rights of the people and the justice of their cause.
