Casualty Figures: Israel’s attacks on Gaza have resulted in a high death toll, with at least 28,576 Palestinians killed and 68,291 wounded. Conversely, the death toll in Israel from Hamas-led attacks stands at 1,139.

Hospital Evacuation: Palestinians began evacuating Khan Younis Hospital in Gaza, following Israeli strikes. Videos showed civilians leaving with belongings, while the Israeli military claimed to provide a safe route. However, with ongoing strikes, safety remains a concern for civilians in the besieged territory.

UN Warnings: The UN has cautioned against a large-scale Israeli military operation in Rafah, where many internally displaced people seek refuge. UNRWA emphasized the lack of safe havens, highlighting the peril faced by civilians. Heavy bombardment has forced further displacement, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.

West Bank Clashes: Clashes between Palestinians and Israeli forces in Beit Ummar, West Bank, left several injured. The UN urged Israel to cease unlawful killings and settler violence, highlighting deteriorating human rights conditions amid intensified raids.

Lebanon Air Raids: Israeli air raids in southern Lebanon resulted in casualties, including deaths and injuries. Civil defense reported casualties in Souaneh and Adshit towns, reflecting the regional escalation of violence.

Suez Canal Response: Egypt’s Suez Canal Authority pledged to mitigate the impact of Red Sea tensions on trade. The crisis stems from Houthi rebel attacks on vessels they associate with Israel, prompting longer shipping routes. International efforts, including US and UK military action, aim to address the situation.

Border Crossing Closure: The Nitzana border crossing between Egypt and Israel closed due to Israeli protesters blocking aid trucks to Gaza. Similar protests occurred at the Karam Abu Salem crossing, driven by demands for captive releases before aid delivery. Limited fuel supplies enter through the Rafah crossing, intensifying the humanitarian crisis.
