As the the attacks on Idlib City and populated cities enter their fourth day, and the assaults on the civilian populations of Aleppo, Hama, Idlib, and Latakia continue for the sixth consecutive day the Fath al-Mubeen Operations room, responsible for the defense and security of the liberated territories has undertaken several keys steps in defending the population.
Over the past 72 hours, the Fath al-Mubeen Operations room has been targeting the military headquarters and command centers coordinating the attacks on the civilians of northern Syria, as well as the military installations, launch sites, and equipment used to carry out the attacks.
Representatives for the Fath al-Mubeen Operations room told L24, “Our forces targeted 80% of Assad army artillery positions in response to the regime’s bombardment of villages and cities in Greater Idlib, which have caused casualties among civilians.”
Fath al-Mubeen Operations room has retaliated against military targets in Aleppo, Hama, Idlib, and Latakia belonging to Assad regime troops as well as Iranian-backed militias. In Hama, they destroyed a command center, three communications vehicles an ammunition depot, and over 10 vehicles in Shatah and Nubul Khatib. In Idlib, they destroyed two missile launchers located in Saraqib, which were carrying out intense missile strikes throughout Idlib.
In Aleppo, they hit launch sites at the Military Academy and bases, destroying several rocket launchers, as well as several military outposts in Reef Mohandessin and Sheikh Ali and targeting positions belonging to Iranian-backed militants in the towns of Nubbul and Zahra in Aleppo’s northwestern countryside.
Military sources in the Fath al-Mubeen Operations room informed L24 that, “the leadership of the Fath al-Mubeen operations room is holding an urgent meeting regarding recent the escalation by the Assad regime in the liberated north. Our response to the regime’s bombardment of civilians in Greater Idlib will be swift and decisive. The scope of our artillery response will be widened as we’re entering a new phase.” The representative further said, “All military options are on the table, and we will take whatever options will avenge our people and deter the enemy.”
