The city of Darat Izza in the western countryside of Aleppo has become the latest target of regime forces wielding deadly suicide drones, leaving a civilian dead and instigating widespread fear among residents. According to local sources, regime forces launched ten suicide drones, targeting various areas around Darat Izza. The victim, identified only as “a civilian who was tending to sheep grazing on the outskirts of Darat Izza,” was struck by a suicide drone while going about his daily activities. Syria Civil Defense, also known as the White Helmets, confirmed the incident, highlighting the perilous conditions faced by the people in northwestern Syria.
