In an exceptional phase of Syria’s history, the Syria Build exhibition emerges as a leading national platform aiming to rebuild the country and enhance the construction sector with comprehensive government support.
The exhibition brings together a select group of local and international specialized companies showcasing the latest engineering innovations and modern technologies in the fields of construction, urban planning, and sustainability.
It represents an unprecedented opportunity for project owners, investors, and professionals to explore integrated solutions. Such as smart attendance technology which uses an electronic attendance management system supported by artificial intelligence, allowing visitors to register seamlessly, track movement within the pavilions, and provide accurate data that contributes to enhancing the experience of visitors and participating companies.
The exhibition also provides an integrated platform gathering local and international expertise in the construction sector, contributing to accelerating the pace of reconstruction and infrastructure development.
Its organization comes at a vital time that reflects the national movement towards rehabilitating cities and vital facilities, enhancing investment opportunities and partnerships between the public and private sectors.
The Public Relations Manager at Alfa Group for organizing international exhibitions and conferences, Engineer Baraa al-Ayoub, explained that preparations began at the start of last week, and the pavilions were set up in collaboration with exhibiting companies.
Regarding the wide participation of local and international companies, she indicated that there are a large number of companies from 20 countries, representing 900 agencies including Turkey, Germany, Sweden, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, alongside leading Syrian companies.
The specialties of the companies vary to include vital areas such as concrete, metal structures, precast elements, air conditioning and cooling systems, kitchen equipment, furnishings, energy, plastics and contracting, in addition to real estate development offices.
Scientific Program
Ayoub stated the exhibition includes a series of scientific lectures and specialized workshops with the participation of the Ministry of Housing, the Engineers Syndicate, Damascus and Idlib Universities, the Seismology Institute, and several engineering offices. He also notes that Syria Build comes at a critical time when there is an increasing need for platforms gathering local and international expertise to drive the reconstruction process.
The exhibition activities will kick off on September 26 and continue until the 30th of this month at the Damascus International Fairgrounds. It is officially sponsored by the Ministry of Economy and Trade, the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, and the Damascus Chamber of Commerce, making it one of the most prominent economic and professional events that accompany the national recovery phase.
