LAST 24 HOURS OF THE ISRAEL-GAZA WAR

• Israeli media claims senior leader of Hamas and a founding commander of its military wing, Saleh al-Arouri was killed by an Israeli drone strike in the Beirut suburb of Dahiyeh, Lebanon.

• The Gaza health ministry said 207 people had been killed in the past 24 hours, bringing the total recorded Palestinian death toll to more than 22,000 in nearly three months of warfare in the Gaza strip.

• Israel’s National Security Minister Ben Gvir has called for the resettlement of Gazans abroad to establish Jewish settlements, branding it a “correct, just, moral, and humane solution.”

• Hamas showed its continued ability to target Israel after more than 12 weeks of the war, firing rockets at Tel Aviv.

• Police detained 33 individuals in Istanbul and seven other provinces on charges of “carrying out international espionage activities” on behalf of the Israeli foreign intelligence service Mossad. Senior Turkish intel officer: “In line with our earlier warning that any attempt to operate illegally in Turkey would have grave consequences, we discourage all relevant parties from engaging in similar activities”
