At dawn today, HTS, one of the military factions from the Fathul Mubeen operations room carried out a military operation on the regime forces around the frontlines of the western countryside of Aleppo.
According to Idlib-based Elam Askari (Military Media), a source from HTS stated that its fighters carried out a special operation on a point that the regime forces had taken over in 2020, west of Aleppo around the 46th regiment.
They reported that after heavy clashes between the opposing sides, the HTS fighters took control of the military point they attacked, destroyed it completely, and neutralized 5 regime soldiers.
In early 2020, the Assad regime, with Russian aerial and Iranian ground support, captured several parts of the western countryside of Aleppo, including the 46th Regiment, located east of the city of Atarib.
Atarib is a part of the liberated areas and is densely populated, although over half of its locals have left due to the continuous violations by the Assad regime, bombing the city frequently.
