The fourth edition of the Syria International Media, Advertising, Printing, and Supplies Exhibition (Media Expo Syria) opened December 2, Tuesday, evening at the Damascus International Fairgrounds. Organized by the Mashhadani International Group for Exhibitions and Conferences in cooperation with the Syrian Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade, the event features notable Arab and international participation, giving it a distinct blend of local engagement and global presence.
Platform for Exchanging Expertise and Fostering Innovation
According to the organizers, the exhibition serves as a vital platform for exchanging expertise and showcasing the latest technologies in media, advertising, printing, digital media supplies, and social media. It seeks to create direct communication channels between local and international companies, encourage partnerships, and promote innovation within the Syrian media and advertising sector. It also aims to help the industry keep pace with rapid global developments in technology and communication.
Khalaf Mashhadani, Director General of the organizing group, emphasized that the exhibition is an important gathering point for media professionals and a platform that brings together participating companies to strengthen communication among them.
He described it as an opportunity to contribute to shaping a brighter future and expanding Syria’s openness to the world. Ahmad Najib, Director of Sham Vision Foundation and the event’s official sponsor, stated that the exhibition supports the transfer of expertise, advances the development of media and advertising, and reinforces cooperation to provide integrated solutions in media production and digital marketing.
Regional Cooperation and Friendly Competition
The exhibition benefits from international sponsorship by the Saudi company Trigon. The company’s Public Relations Director, Ahmad al-Jarba, reaffirmed his country’s commitment to supporting Syria’s recovery and offering opportunities for investors and businesspeople.
He described the exhibition as an important window for showcasing the capabilities of participating companies, encouraging healthy competition among them, and serving as a platform for bringing together expertise to advance the media and advertising sector. The exhibition coincides with the first anniversary of Liberation Day and will run for four days.
