German police arrests racist man who attacked a Syrian refugee

April 27, 2021

A video clip has spread widely on social media sites showing a German man in his thirties attacking a 17-year-old Syrian man inside a train in Erfurt.

The German authorities announced the arrest of the racist person who verbally and physically assaulted a Syrian refugee in the city of Erfurt.

“The German police have arrested the perpetrator who attacked the Syrian refugee,” said Bodo Ramilho, governor of Thuringia state. “Ramilo” described the attack as disgusting, indicating that the attacker was a coward because he used his power to attack an unarmed person.

It is noteworthy that Syrian refugees are constantly subjected to racist persecution in countries of asylum, especially in Europe, and this has increased their suffering after fleeing Assad’s brutality hoping for a safer life abroad.
