News have spread from sources on the ground who claimed that the Afrin Forces from the SDF have received advanced military equipment from the Iranian forces located in the towns of Nubul and Zahra, north of Aleppo.
The sources said: “The Afrin Forces affiliated with SDF have recently increased and expanded their (range of) attacks in northern Aleppo. The attacks show signs that they have acquired new stocks of (advanced) weapons”.
They added: “The attacks by the Afrin Forces included the entire region of the southwest of Afrin to the outskirts of the al-Bab, which also passes through Mar and al-Azzaz”.
“This group of fighters from the SDF have also received large amounts of ammunition, as well as reconnaissance aircraft and devices for night vision”, said the sources.
They also reported that some of the commanders and officers from the Hezbollah participated in training of this group on using guided aircraft and night surveillance devices.
Recently, the SDF had raised the Iranian flag in the city of Tal Rifat, which is under their control, in order to avoid Turkish air and artillery bombardment.
