Repeated cease-fire violations by the Regime causes civilians deaths in Jabal al-Zawiya

Regime heavy and rocket artillery targeted Ibdita village in Jabal al-Zawiya this morning killing two civilians and injuring several others. The shelling also targeted Balshon and Arnaba villages.

Since the beginning of this month, Jabal al-Zawiya has been subjected to daily targeting campaigns that have led to the displacement of the remaining inhabitants as Russia and Syrian aspirations insist on controlling Syria entirely. Until now 20 people, including women and children, died and several others injured.

Russia’s ambassador in Damascus, Alexander Yefimov, said that the agreement reached with Turkey on Idlib does not nullify the need for the Assad regime to regain control of the region as soon as possible.

Fathul Mubeen operations room, with other factions in Idlib, have responded to the recent violations by shelling regime and Russian militia positions. The factions in Idlib stated that their shelling hit their targets causing losses in material and manpower.

On June 16, the Turkish army also targeted the Assad militia positions in several towns and villages in southern Idlib with heavy artillery as a response to the shelling of the Turkish army post in Taran in southern Idlib.
